The small round cocotte from STAUB is particularly suitable for singles and couples. With a diameter of 12 cm, a height of 9 cm and a volume of 0.4 litres, it is ideal for small portions, side dishes or serving tasty dishes at the table. The cast iron cocotte is the French counterpart to the casserole dish. Cast iron is extremely robust and durable. Braised dishes work extremely well in the mini roasting pan, as they are made of cast iron and enamelled on the inside. This means that it retains the heat for a long time and distributes it evenly. All ingredients are cooked gently without losing important nutrients and develop a particularly good flavour. But you can also serve chilled food very well in a cocotte.
